IUS students attended industry lead workshop
On Saturday and Sunday, 5th and 6th November 2016, a workshop on Android App Development and SCRUM software management was held in HUB387, Bosmal. Students enrolled in CS498 course (Special Topics in Computer Science I) attended this workshop.
The training was delivered by experienced industry employees from Sarajevo who develop products for the global market. The workshop was very interactive and also included the process publishing the apps on Google Play Store including the specification of the needed documentation.
Student Rialda Spahić gave the following feedback:
“The weekend was very productive and fun. It definitely did contribute to our programming skills and brought us new connections with future colleagues.”
Within the CS498 course, students split in groups are developing a product that aims to be fully functional by the end of the semester. The course holder is Assist. Prof. Dr. Jasminka Hasic Telalovic. The funding for this activity was provided by USAID Partnership for Innovation project.
We are looking forward to see results of student work.
